Nirmal L. Gomes currently a graduate student in Library and Information Science (M.L.I.S.) concentration in Community Service Librarianship and Digital Libraries- Academic Library Specialization at the Catholic University of America (CUA). Mr. Gomes is also the Vice-President in the Association of Graduate Library and Information Science Students (AGLISS) and Students Ambassador, Department of Library and Information Science, CUA.
Mr. Gomes graduated in Master of Science in Management (M.S.M.), with a specialty in Human Resources from CUA's Metropolitan School of Professional Studies (MSPS). He graduated in Master of Arts (M.A.) in Education with a specialty in Higher Education Administration from CUA and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Social Sciences from the CUA’s Metropolitan School of Professional Studies (MSPS), Washington, DC. He has an advanced B.A. in Social Sciences degree from Tejgaon College, Dhaka University, Bangladesh. He is an International Scholar winner named for the Month of April 2008, recognized by the Catholic University of America's Center for Global Education.
