Please make an appointment: The Semitics/ ICOR Library is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Weekend and evening appointments are possible. Please contact the curator.
Class Visits
We regularly partner with the university’s faculty and instructors for class visits to the Semitics/ICOR collections.
When You Arrive
Because many of the department's holdings are unique, rare, or fragile, we ask patrons to help us preserve these materials for future scholars. Please note:
- Registration is required upon arrival.
- Food and beverages are not permitted.
- Library materials do not circulate outside the rooms.
- Electronic devices such as phones, cameras and laptops are allowed.
Our Rooms
Metro Directions
- Take the Red Line train to Brookland-CUA.
- Follow the signs for Catholic University to exit via the left (west) side of the station.
- At top of the escalator, follow the path to the entrance for the university.
- Cross John McCormack Road and continue up the hill; John K. Mullen Memorial Library is the large building at the top of the hill.
- Go left around the building to the main entrance.
- As you enter you will be asked to present a photo I.D.
