We welcome all individuals to visit us here to conduct research. We have designated this page to make planning your visit as seamless as possible to allow you to maximize your time here with the materials. We suggest that you take a few moments to look over the following before you arrive, and encourage you to contact us with any questions you might have before your visit.
Before You Arrive
Please take a look at our collections page to familiarize yourself with the records in the Archives. Many of our manuscript collections have online Finding Aids or Collection Guides that will enable you to determine specific boxes or files of interest. Please call or e-mail us at lib-archives@cua.edu first to schedule and confirm your visit before you arrive. Please tell us as much as you can about the nature and goals of your research. The more information we have about your work, the more time our staff will have to prepare and in some cases, identify other resources housed here that might be helpful to you! Any specific items, such as box numbers, identified by you in advance will be pulled and ready for you when you arrive. This way, you will be able to maximize your time during your research visit. Also, please be aware that some materials are stored off site, so that it may take up to 72 hours to retrieve them.
